October 25, 2026 — Sturgill Polespear Meet — 20 Fish

- Join the LA Fathomiers in Celebration of the “LATE GREAT CHARLIE STURGILL”
Divers who gather will be doing so out of respect for Charlie and his family.
A BBQ lunch will follow the weigh-in. Please bring a Pot Luck item to share. - Trophies 1st through 5th place and largest fish.

Rules:
- FREEDIVING POLE SPEAR ONLY COMPETITION
- Start time is Sunrise on Sunday, October 12th 2025
- No Boundaries. No Check-in.
- All fish must be in the weigh-in circle at 2:00 p.m.
- The meet has a 20 fish limit, no more than 3 fish per species. DFG rules apply.
- No fish under 12″ will be awarded any points
- Per DFG rules, bass must be 14″
- Limit of 1 Sheephead must be 18” or larger.
